Audio Mastering, Before and After

Here are a few audio samples of my work. In most cases the best masters come from balanced mixes that peak far below 0dBFS. It's important not to overload the mix bus or use any limiters during mixdown, leaving plenty of headroom. Keep in mind that your first mastered song is free, so you can always find out exactly what you get by working with me, with no risk or obligation involved.

Below is a basic example of "stem mastering". The artist sent only two stems — one music file and one vocal file — along with a previous mix that gave me an idea of what he was after. I was able to supply the desired "Cher Effect" along with some ducking delay to meet the artist's needs.
